Dr. Sweta Sneha

Dr. Sweta Sneha, is the Dean of C. Lamar and Ann Wright School of Business. She is also an endowed Sesquicentennial Chair and
Professor of Management Information Systems at Dalton State College.

Dean Sneha believes Wright School of Business is well positioned to be the hub of innovation, driving workforce and economic development in northwest Georgia. Drawing on more than twenty years of leadership experience, she is committed to amplifying the role of Wright School of Business in transforming the regional ecosystem-driving student success, forging strategic industry alliances, and positioning the school as a trusted partner impacting the vitality and growth of the Northwest Georgia and beyond.

With a passion to impact innovation and research her vision is to cultivate collaboration with diverse stakeholders and experts in industry, academia, technology, healthcare, and government to develop innovative, scalable solutions that empowers regional growth and outcomes; enhances operational efficiency and revenue; and creates opportunities for innovation and experiential learning. Dean Sneha is well respected as a subject matter expert and has been a recipient of numerous awards and accolades at the national and international platforms for her impact on innovations, interdisciplinary research, and workforce/economic development in health-tech. including the TITAN100 award recognizing the top 100 most influential leaders in Georgia (2024, 2023), Top 20 Global Women of Excellence (2024), Tech Leader of the Year (TAG 2023), American Medical Informatics Association – Outstanding Contributions to Health Informatics(2024, 2023), Excellence in HealthCare Award (Health 2.0 – 2025), Woman of the Year in Technology (2022), Visionary Leadership in Healthcare (Health 2.0 – 2024), Distinguished Service Award (2019), KSU Collaboration Award, NCWIT RISE-IT Award, and Women in Technology (WIT) -Top Three (2018, 2019, 2020, 2021). Dr. Sneha has published over 100 peerreviewed research; authored a book on revolutionizing healthcare; delivered panel sessions, workshops, and keynotes. Dr. Sneha serves as editorial steward and university ambassador for Blockchain in Healthcare Today; Health Systems Journal (2023, 2024), co-chairs Health IT at Americas Conference on Information Systems. As a subject matter expert, Dr. Sneha was invited to serve Atlanta Regional Commission Roundtable for Emerging Technology in Life Sciences, AgTech, and Workforce Development. Additionally she serves on the board for Technology Association of Georgia – Digital Healthcare, Tech Alpharetta, TITAN100 (2023), and American Medical Informatics Association Industry Partnership Council.

Dean Sneha has previously served as the Founder, Executive Director and Professor at Kennesaw State University (KSU) where she was the visionary leader and architect of Healthcare Management and Informatics (HMI). She single-handedly doubled the growth and increased HMI’s revenue to approximately $14 million and impacted KSU’s footprint in digital health workforce by over 1000%. With a PhD in Computer Information Systems from Georgia State University and a BS in Computer Science from University of Maryland, College Park, Dr. Sneha has been a Georgia resident for over 25 years. Prior to her academic roles, she worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Management Consulting.
