The Power of the Pink Robe

Every woman has a comfy piece of clothing that she wouldn’t be caught wearing in public! For some of us, it’s a tattered T-shirt. Others have sad sweatpants with a safety-pin in an over-stretched waist band. For me, it’s a stained, faded, pink robe caught on sale during a now defunct superstore’s blue light special!

Honestly, my robe . . . is downright ugly! But I LOVE so many things about this 21-year-old relic! Mainly, it has stood the test of time and has managed to survive some tough days. But, more importantly . . . like me . . . my robe has great capacity for more . . . more life and more purpose.

My pink robe is like so many amazingly resilient women who are full of life, extremely capable, versatile, and determined to live life with purpose and confidence.

The Pink Robe Society exists to celebrate and support those bold, authentic women. Women who want to continue to evolve, grow, and shape their destiny. We want to help them nurture their ideas, strategize their future, and positively influence causes and issues they care about in their families, their communities, their organizations, and in the world around them.

Kat Thompson

Katreequia (Kat) Thompson is Head of HR for Audi of America and Head of DEI for Volkswagen Group of America. She drives DEI strategy and leads HR for Audi, Bentley, Bugatti, and Lamborghini, partnering with senior leaders to shape culture, engagement, and talent. With over 20 years in HR, Kat previously held leadership roles at Walgreens, Allegis Group, and Target. Originally from Louisiana, she lives in Fairfax County with her three children.

Stefanie Crowe is a veteran in wealth advisory and banking, entrepreneur, and angel investor. After a decade at Bank of America, she held leadership roles at a startup bank acquired in 2015. She co-founded The JumpFund, investing in female-led ventures, and later launched AegleWealth, focusing on wealth and well-being. Stefanie holds a BA from Notre Dame, an MBA from UT Chattanooga, and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™.

As CEO of Christi Homar Design and partner at LHD Investments, she leads innovative projects like Hamilton County’s first container home. Her work has been featured on HGTV and in Edge magazine. Christi is hands-on from concept to completion, crafting custom pieces when needed and championing sustainable, boundary-pushing design.

Andrea Perry Lyons

Andrea has built a distinguished career in media, marketing, and nonprofit leadership. A former radio personality and TV host, she earned recognition including the NAACP’s 45 Under 45 Award and two journalism fellowships. She later held director roles at First Things First, UTC, and Erlanger Health. Andrea holds degrees in business and public administration, is an active voiceover artist and emcee, and continues serving the community through music, mentorship, and volunteerism.

She helps organizations scale with clarity and equips people to lead, adapt, and thrive.

Selena Chávez, daughter of Colombian immigrants, grew up in rural Tennessee where she developed a deep commitment to social impact. She’s led grassroots efforts supporting immigrant communities, raised $182K for critical needs, and advanced regional programs in the Arab world with the EU and global nonprofits. As Executive Director to Fuerza Democrats Tennessee she aims to recruit, train, and fund the next generation of latino democratic candidates at the state level of Tennessee. In her free time she is a photojournalist, capturing the strength of the communities she seeks to uplift.

Kreneshia Rielle’ Whiteside-McGee, also known as Kren, is noted for having a “beautiful eye,” orchestrating artwork and moments to present creatives in captivating original ways. She’s a Tennessee native, but travels near and abroad to curate and collaborate with numerous artists. Her portfolio includes creative direction, exhibition development, and art handling in the settings of galleries, homes, restaurants, offices, and more.

April Hollingsworth Phelan

April Phelan is a wife, girl mom, and lover of Jesus—passionate about beauty, hospitality, and building things that last. After a decade as an actress and host, she and her husband launched Selah Ridge Treesort, a luxury retreat in North Georgia. Featured on Magnolia Network, it’s now home to three rentals and four treehouses. April runs daily operations and loves creating space for rest, purpose, and God's quiet presence.

Bailee Elizabeth Johnston

Dual Enrollment Student: North Murray High School & Dalton State College

Bailee Elizabeth Johnston is a driven student from Chatsworth, GA, earning her associate degree while still in high school. With a 4.1 GPA and awards in English and Science, she thrives academically and personally. From theatre to athletics to volunteer work, she channels resilience into every pursuit. Bailee plans to become a CPA, valuing clarity, stability, and service. She believes in balance: driven but grounded, ambitious yet authentic—and this is just the beginning.
