Ali Whittier

Ali Whittier is a competitive amateur cyclist and member of the Chattanooga Cycling Hall of Fame Class of 2026. An Iowa native who now calls Chattanooga, Tennessee, home, she competes in mountain bike, gravel, and ultra-endurance events across the United States and internationally. Highlights of her cycling accomplishments include a Tennessee state mountain bike championship, state and national championship podium finishes, qualification for the UCI Gravel Masters World Championships, and a spot at the 2026 UCI Masters Marathon Mountain Bike World Championships. Earlier in her cycling career, she raced on the road and in cyclocross.

Professionally, Ali has nearly 20 years of experience in communications and not-for-profit administration and has worked across strategic communications, community engagement, health education, and wellness initiatives. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®), she is passionate about active living, outdoor recreation, and strengthening communities.
